different looking design. The banner reads "WARNER BROS. ANIMATION".

  • 1992: "A TIME WARNER ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY"

7th Logo

(1995-2002)

Nicknames: "WB Shield", "Metallic Shield"

Bylines/Variants:
  • 1995-2001: "A TIME WARNER ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY"
  • 2001-2002: "An AOL Time Warner Company" (with http://www.warnerbros.com/ below the company byline)

Classic Variant: On the Looney Tunes anthology series That's Warner Bros.! (1995), the word "TELEVISION ANIMATION" (on the banner) is replaced with "CLASSIC ANIMATION" and there is no byline.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Silent or the ending of the show's theme.

Availability: Survives on Pinky and The Brain on Jetix and Disney XD and on DVD as well. Sometimes seen on Superman: The Animated Series after either normal or compressed credits on Disney XD, but usually plastered over with the 2003 "Distributed By" variation of the 2003 logo, like on the Batman series. It also is seen on Histeria! on in2TV (AOL Video Online). As for the "Classic Animation" variant, it's extinct because it only appeared on That's Warner Bros.! (1995), which was shown only for a year (to be replaced with The Bugs and Daffy Show).

Scare Factor
: None.

8th Logo
(2001-2008)
WBTA: 2001-2003WBTA: 2003-2007Warner Bros. Animation (2007)

Nickname
: "CGI Shield"

Logo: Same as before, except the new logo has yet another different cloud background. It has a much better defined Warner Bros. shield logo with an updated banner inscription, like that of the current motion picture version, now reading "WARNER BROS. ANIMATION" across. Below the shield is a www.warnerbros.com byline.

Variants:
  • An early variation from the AOL era had the banner reading "TELEVISION ANIMATION" across, and underneath was a "An AOL Time Warner Company" byline, in a new lowercase typeface, with the www.warnerbros.com byline underneath. This variation can be found on early episodes of Justice League and first season episodes of Teen Titans, among other shows.
  • On Chill Out, Scooby-Doo! a variant of this logo was seen with the www.warnerbros.com byline missing; just the shield on the clouds. This variant was also seen on The Batman episode: Night and the City.
  • Debuting around November-December 2007 was a variation with a new "A TimeWarner Company" byline on the bottom.
Apparent Editing Mistake: On one episode of Duck Dodgers (I forget which one), the end credits cut to black in the place where the logo should be. The reason for this is unknown, though it may be due to bad editing.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Usually the outro of the show's theme music, but is also seen silent on some direct-to-video movies (typically if it follows a DC Comics logo or a Hanna-Barbera logo or a dedication in the credits).

Availability: No longer current, but still quite common
on various Termite Terrace-produced shows on Cartoon Network and Boomerang, including Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, Loonatics: Unleashed, Xiaolin Showdown, Ozzy and Drix, Krypto the Superdog, The Batman, Legion of Super Heroes, Duck Dodgers, Baby Looney Tunes, virtually every Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry production by the studio since 1998 (though quite a few of them are notoriously bad) and on various direct-to-video productions from the studio, such as Bah, Humduck: A Looney Tunes Christmas. This logo can also be seen on the current but short-lived Looney Tunes cartoons produced by Larry Doyle in the 2003-2005 timeframe.

Scare Factor: None.

9th Logo
(2008- )
Warner Bros. Animation (2008- )Warner Bros. Animation "CGI Shield II" (Opening Variant, 2008)Warner Bros. Animation "CGI Shield II" (Closing Variant, 2008)

Nickname: "CGI Shield #2"

Logo: On a red spotlight background, we see the standard WB shield much like before with Bugs (drawn in his 1940s style) on the left, munching his carrot. The shield is more computer-generated. Below the shield is "Presents" in white script or the TimeWarner byline (the former used for the intro, the latter used for the outro). On the closing variant Bugs does not appear and the TimeWarner byline appears below.

FX/SFX: Just Bugs munching his carrot. Also, the shield zooms up a bit. None for the closing variant.

Cheesy Factor: The Flash animation used for Bugs is a little tacky, also Bugs looks like different.

Music/Sounds: The opening variant plays the sped-up very end of the original 1945-1955 rendition of "Merrily we Roll Along" with Bugs munching his carrot, while the end uses the end theme of the show.

Availability: Currently seen on Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Cartoon Network. It also appears on Scooby-Doo and the Samurai Sword. Ever since Kids' WB! was renamed to The CW 4Kids! on the CW network, the number of shows produced by Termite Terrace has drastically decreased, but this logo can be expected on any future productions from the company to show up.

Scare Factor: None.
