Logo: Against a brown background, we see the letters "WIPB", in CG Omega font, positioned against a rectangle containing five gold stripes and four silver stripes. Underneath, the white text "Muncie, Indiana", in the Enchanted font (the font you see that displays the text of the answers on Jeopardy!, as well as the font used within The Joy of Painting), types in below.
FX/Cheesy Factor: Apart from the typing in of the "Muncie, Indiana" text, it's really just a still logo.
Music/Sounds: A three-note descending synthesizer tune that plays four times followed by a very long synth note held down throughout with a synth "whoosh". This tune was also used on the WPSX (now WPSU) logo of the '80s.
Availability: Seen on old tapes of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. Unfortunately, that logo will probably never be seen on TV again, seeing as the series is nowcurrently being produced by Blue Ridge Public Television of Roanoke, Virginia and American Public Television, sometimes under thecalltitleThe Best of The Joy of Painting, currently produced.byTheBlueoriginalRidgeWIPB-producedPublicversionTelevisionmayofstillRoanoke,beVirginiaseenandinAmericanotherPubliccountries,Television.however.
Scare Factor: Minimal; the music may be a bit startling.
