1st (possibly only) Logo
(1970s-1980s)
Videorama (1970s-1980s)

Nickname: "Funky Spirals"

Logo: We see a blue and white spiral pattern tilted to the right. As a guitar lick begins to play, the spiral pattern rapidly fuzzes up and changes color. This goes on for a few seconds, then on a translucent black background the word

VIDEORAMA
(in a blocky '70s-style font) on a whitish background surrounding the letters appears several times, gradually getting larger. Then the "VIDEO" half appears, then the "RAMA" half, and the full word appears, then the word zooms in. The spiral pattern fades out and the words:

Presenteert
Präsentiert
Presents

(in a different '70s-style font) quickly fade in.

FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: The spiral background and changing colors look pretty cool, but the "fuzzing up" really looks tacky. But what's really cheesy about this logo is the word "VIDEORAMA" appearing so many times.

Music/Sounds: A 1970s rock tune that turns into a bombastic orchestral fanfare.

Availability: Seen on porn tapes from the U.S. and Europe, such as Trashi.

Scare Factor: Low to medium; the spiral background, bombastic fanfare, and "VIDEORAMA" may get to some.
