1st Logo
(1991-1995?)

Nickname: "Pink/Blue Wigga-Wigga," "\/|/\CO/\/\ Pictures"
Viacom Pictures Presents
Logo: Over a black background, we see pink and blue shapes sliding from side to side, a la the first official logo of Discovision. After a few seconds, we zoom out to reveal the then-current Viacom logo (in the "\/|/\CO/\/\" style), with "\/|/\" in pink and "CO/\/\" in light blue. "PICTURES" zooms in below, in red, and "PRESENTS" fades in below that, in blue.

FX: The sliding out of "\/|/\CO/\/\", the zooming of "PICTURES", the fading of "PRESENTS."

Music/Sounds: Four synthesized dramatic-yet-simple ascending tones, and then the music of Viacom's then-current television logo, also known as the "Wigga-Wigga" music. It differs from its television counterpart; the guitar part, the actual "wigga-wigga" sounds and the voiceover are all missing.

Availability: Extremely rare; still intact on TV Movies of the era, such as like Taking the Heat and Roswell.

Scare Factor: Low; it may surprise you the first time you see it.

2nd Logo
(1991-1999)

Logo: At the begin of any movie, we see generally an in-credit disclaimer at the screen:

A
VIACOM PICTURES
PRODUCTION

But on the closing credits of any movie, this is the in-credit custom logo:

VIACOM
---------------PICTURES

FX: None for the opening variant. The scrolling of the credits for the closing variant.

Music/Sounds: The opening/closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Rare; seen on various TV movies and some theatrical releases of the era, such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the movie), White Mile (1994), and the theatrical movie Kalifornia (1993), among other releases.

Scare Factor: None.
