(1987-1992)
Nickname: "The Red Circle/V"
Logo: Same as the Vestron Video logo, except instead of "VESTRON VIDEO", we see the words "VESTRON PICTURES" in a futuristic font resembling that used on the title of the 80s cartoon show Transformers.
FX/SFX: Same as the Vestron Video logo.
Music/Sounds: Same as the Vestron Video logo. On some movies, like Dirty Dancing, it is silent, and sometimes, a triumphant synth horn fanfare was used, just like its video counterpart. Sometimes, on some Vestron Pictures releases, like Waxwork, it usually uses the opening theme of the movie. On some movies like Over Her Dead Body (AKA: Enid is Sleeping), it uses the same jingle as the Vestron Television logo.
Availability: Still intact in Dirty Dancing, Waxwork, Class of 1999, C.H.U.D. II: Bud the Chud, and Earth Girls are Easy.
Scare Factor: Minimal; very professional, very clean. Nothing to worry about.
