Background: United Artists owned and operated television two television stations between the years of 1968 and 1977. Legal ID's for the company would typically say "United Artists Broadcasting: an entertainment service of Transamerica Corporation," along with the Transamerica "T" logo. UAB/Transamerica would exit the broadcasting business in 1977 following the sale of WUAB to the Gaylord Broadcasting Company.
