Logo: The word UBI is written in big purple font, with hand-written orange Soft over it to the lower right corner. Even below the logo, ENTERTAINMENT SOFTWARE is seen, also in orange.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely Rare.

2nd Logo
(Early 90's -1995)

Ubi Soft Logo (1994)

Logo: Just the company name written on black BG - UBI SOFT in capitals, and Entertainment Software in italics below.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely Rare. Was seen on Street Racer (1994), though this kind of logo was also used on box covers.

Scare Factor: None.



3rd Logo
(1995 -2003)

Logo: Against the shining rainbow background, the black logo (Ubi Soft and yellow ENTERTAINMENT words) come, turns here and there, then places itself as usual and the background condenses to the rainbow cap over the logo, which becomes white.

FX/SFX: The logo moving, the light transforming into the cap.

Music/Sounds:
  • A fast-descending wind-chime intro, followed by a mellow 8-note piano composition.
  • On Rayman, an orchestral composition is played.

Variant:
  • On Splinter Cell, the logo fades in a green light, with the ingame music.
  • On Arcatera:The Dark Brotherhood, the logo forms from the full moon with light rays effect.
  • The logo is still on Rayman and other games for Nintendo 64 and GameBoy.

Availability: Common. Seen in Sub Culture, Theocracy, Silent Hunter II, among other games.

4th Logo
(2003-2009)

Logo: We zoom out of a purple tunnel full of moving white lines and rings. Then a tunnel converts to a medallion with spiral ornament inside. The color is gradient purple. Below, UBISOFT is written in custom capital font.

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: A vivid background with two up-beating sequences, ending with a ding.

Variant:
  • On Assassin's Creed, the logo is crossed by a glitches of chemical formulas, and it's on white BG.
  • Sometimes both the logo and the music are sped-up.
  • There was a version with chime jingles soundtrack.

Availability: Very common.

Scare Factor: None.



5th Logo
(2009-)

Ubisoft Entertainment (2009)

Logo: It's rather complicated. We see a silver flash and zoom into a silver sphere, surrounded with several effect lines. The sphere becomes a silver fog, then we continue to zoom, until curved effect lines swirl into the Ubisoft medallion.

FX/SFX: All the animation.

Music/Sounds: Background dings and splashes.

Availability: Current. Can be seen in Anno 1404, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X., Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Rabbids Go Home and other upcoming games.

Scare Factor: None.
