Tokyo Movie Shinsha Co., Ltd./TMS Entertainment (Japan)
1st Logo
(1970's-1990s)

Logo: On a black background, we see a stylized "TMS" in blue and red, with "TOKYO MOVIE SHINSHA CO. LTD." below in white. After a few seconds, the words sparkle out, and the stylized "TMS" turns 3D, moving toward the viewer while leaving residue behind, with the residue following shortly afterwards.
Variant: On some films, like The Castle of Cagliostro, the logo is still.
FX: The sparkles and the moving TMS.
Cheesy Factor: Cheap '70s attempt at a hand-drawn 3D logo.
Music/Sounds: Usually silent, but some films, like Lupin III: The Fuma Conspiracy, use a 4-note synth that repeats throughout the logo, chimes for the sparkles, and loud whooshing for the movement of "TMS".
Availability: Can still be seen on Streamline or AnimEigo dubs of TMS properties, but on later releases, such as the Pioneer dub of Lupin III: The Secret of Mamo, you'd better expect the 2nd logo. This is also on "Little Nemo".
Scare Factor: Low.
TV Closing Logo
(1987-1990's)

Logo: On a blue background, we see a silver TMS in a bold font. Then it turns onto its side and morphs into a cursive TMS (with the S and T connected by a rounded rectangle). "Entertainment" appears below and the logo shines.
FX: Not bad.
Music/Sounds: Silent Closing theme of the show.
Availability: Seen on shows like "Visionaries" (before Sunbow logo) and "Bionic Six" (before MCA TV logo). Those shows haven't been aired in a while, but keep your eyes out.
Scare Factor: Low.
2nd Logo
(Late 1990s- )

Logo: On a sky background, three dolphins move toward the screen with a bubbly rainbow following close behind. Then "TMS" in the current font appears, with "Entertainment, Ltd." below.
Variant: On some shows (e.g., 4Kids TV's Sonic X), the logo is still and set on a black background.
FX: The entire animation.
Music/Sounds: Sparkling, a dolphin noise, bubble noises, and a dolphin chirping.
Availability: The current logo, it's so common. Seen on some 4Kids shows across the world. It even plasters the 1st logo on "Lupin III"!
Scare Factor: None; it's actually a cute logo.
