Logo descriptions by EnormousRat and Logophile

1st Logo
(1990-1994)
Tiger Television (1992)Tiger Television (1993)

Logo: On an orange gradient background is a box with blue tiger strips and below that is

A
TIGER
TELEVISION
PRODUCTION

or

TIGER
TELEVISION
PRODUCTION

and below that is copyright and network info. The pattern of the tiger stripes change throughout the duration of the logo.

FX/SFX: Just the animation of the tiger stripes.

Music/Sounds: Usually none or the closing theme of the program, though sometimes, the sound of a tiger growling is heard.

Availability: Rare, it might be replaced with the third logo on current prints of shows, but this can be found on Mr. Bean VHS and DVD releases.

Scare Factor: Low, bordering on medium for the version with the tiger growling, none for the silent and closing theme logos.

2nd Logo
(1994-1999)
Tiger Aspect (1995)Tiger Aspect (1995)

Logo: On a paper background, we see black and orange drawing of A and a tiger eye above (probably the line above the eye can resemble T). The eye blinks slowly. Below, there are words A TIGER ASPECT with PRODUCTION below, all in italics, and the network/copyright info.

Variant: The very first use had no animation and broadcasting marks.

FX/SFX: The eye moving.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon. Appeared on Mr. Bean episode 10 and onwards, as well as on Thin Blue Line. Also seen on Harry Enfield and Chums.

Scare Factor: None to medium. The jarring cut to the logo and the blinking may startle some.

3rd Logo
(1999- )
Tiger Aspect (2002)Tiger Aspect (2006)Tiger Aspect Films (2001)Tiger Aspect (2011)

Logo: On a black BG, in its upper part, words "tiger" and "aspect" in compressed lowercase font, slide from opposite directions in a gray rectangle and join. We can see PRODUCTIONS fit below. The lower part of the screen is taken by broadcasting and co-productions text, like BBC and other studios. Later appearances have an IMG byline, but after the sell to Endemol, it can no more appear. Also, the very down screen has a copyright name and year, later changed to Roman numerals.

Variants:
  • There is a filmed version, which has no rectangle and aspect in salad green. It has the word "pictures" instead of "productions".
  • An IMG byline would appear below the line from 2006 to 2009.
  • An Endemol byline appears since 2009.

FX/SFX: The words sliding.

Music/Sounds: None or the closing theme.

Availability: Common. Seen on every show produced, starting with Let Them Eat Cake, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Teachers, and most recently seen on Robin Hood. The filmed version appears on movies, like The Martins, usually at the end.

Scare Factor: None.
