Background: The Lyons Group was founded in 1988, and it always used the same logo. However, this company is now known as HiT Entertainment (still under copyright holders, as Lyons Partnership).
(1988-1991)
Nickname: "The Signature"
Logo: On a gray background, we see "THE" flashing on the top left, then the "Lyons" script writing itself on an outlined square, and finally, "GROUP" flashing on the bottom right.
FX/SFX: The flashing and writing script.
Music/Sounds: A fifteen-note string and flute fanfare sounding like an Irish tune.
Music/Sounds Variant: I didn't know this myself, but someone on YouTube said he or she had a tape with this logo that had Sandy Duncan (who starred on these tapes, can you believe it?!) saying "Love you." after a short "I Love You" (Barney's favorite song) played.
Availability: Can be seen on tapes of Barney and the Backyard Gang, among others.
Scare Factor: None.

I have "Waiting For Santa" which didn't have that logo. It was made in 1990. What could be possible?
