Background
: Studio Gigante was a Chicago-based video game developer established in 2000 by John Tobias, Dave Michicich, and Joshua Tsui, several developers of Midway's popular Mortal Kombat fighting game series. The company produced two games before folding in 2005 due to lack of success.

Nickname: "Watch For Re-Entry!", "Asteroid-sized Man"

Logo: In a space environment, a three-dimensional plate of the company's symbol (a black blocky giant) flies across like a meteor leaving behind a trail of blue flames. The camera then rotates to reveal it is heading towards Earth. As it gets closer, the flames turn orange and grow larger until the logo flashes to reveal the giant symbol on a white box (against a black background) with the words "STUDIO GIGANTE" at the top and bottom as well as "INC" outside the box.

FX/SFX: The smoke trails, the CGI giant symbol and flashing, which was pretty well done for the time.

Music/Sounds: An increasingly intense synth orchestral theme that grows more dramatic as the giant reaches Earth, and comes to an abrupt stop once the logo is fully formed.

Availability: Seen on Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus and WWE Wrestlemania 21 for the Xbox.

Editor's Note: None.
