Background: This was the ultra short-lived television distribution unit of Storer Communications, Inc. (formerly Storer Broadcasting, Inc.) established in 1963 with the acquisition of its first cable television system. After, the parent company merged with Gillett Broadcasting and Wometco Broadcasting to form SCI Television. SCI is later merged to New World Entertainment in December 1993.
