1st Logo
(1990-1993)
Spumco (old version)

Nicknames
: "Drooling Boy," "Jimmy the Idiot Boy"

Logo: Over a dark brown background, we see a drawing of a drooling boy's head. On the top-left of the screen is the text "SPÜMCØ" in colorful letters with two yellow umlauts above the "U" , and a line in the "O". Underneath the company name is the slogan "The Danes call it Quality" in blue, with quotation marks in "Quality", making the message "SPUMCO, The Danes call it Quality".

FX: Just a still logo.

Trivia:
The boy depicted is another one of Jon Kricfaluski's characters, named Jimmy the Idiot Boy. He was originally going to make a Nicktoon about this character, but didn't want to lose the rights, so he used Ren and Stimpy instead. Jimmy would eventually be seen in one of Kricfaluski's other shows "The Ripping Friends".

Music: Plays over the ending theme. On the uncut version of "Big House Blues" pilot, it has a short guitar riff playing over the logo.

Availability: Seen on the first 2 seasons of "The Ren & Stimpy Show" on Nicktoons Network. It is also saved on the Season 1&2 DVD boxsetforbox set for the show.

Scare Factor: Low.

FX: Just a still logo.

Trivia:The character at the front is an R&S recurring character George Liquor, who appears on "Dog Show" and the banned episode "Man's Best Friend".
