1st Logo
(1981-1993)
Nickname: "The Weird SC"
Logo: A metallic '70s "S" and "C", both connected, zoom out against a light blue-pink gradient background and shine. Then, "South Carolina Educational Television", all in a rounded lower-case font and arranged like this:

FX/SFX: The "SC" zooming out.
Cheesy Factor: Simple computer effects.
Music/Sounds: No music, but it does have a male announcer saying the following:
Availability: Extinct on TV; can be seen on old tapes of Firing Line and NatureScene.
Scare Factor: Low; the announcer might be startling.
2nd Logo
(1993-2000)
Nickname: "Multi-SC's"
Logo: We see the same "SC" logo from the previous, but in blue, and set against a background of ghostly "SC" logos that travel upward, making it look like the logo is "falling". It is positioned next to "South Carolina ETV", in CG Omega font.
Variant: On The Magic School Bus and The Dooley and Pals Show, the logo was in a box against a black background and had "A production of" or "Presented by South Carolina ETV" (in yellow) over it.
FX/SFX: The moving background.
Music/Sounds: Each time, the closing music plays over, but sometimes it has it's own music or no music. The version with no music has been spotted with two different announcers. One of them is the announcer from Logo 1 saying "A Presentation of South Carolina ETV," while the other is a different announcer saying "A Production of South Carolina ETV."
Availability: The version with the box can be seen on the two shows mentioned, and the full on-screen version of the logo can be seen on NatureScene (Note that Firing Line had no logo after 1992; just the text "South Carolina ETV" against a green marble background). The announcer variants were spotted on Adventures in Scale Modeling and the special The Final Hours: Amelia Earhart's Last Flight.
Scare Factor: Low, due to the dark background.

I'm going to be on the lookout for more SCETV logos and see if they're any new ones available on WRLK-35 Time Warner Cable 11 and plus South Carolina On Demand and ETVHD.
