Logo description by EnormousRat

Background: ShondaLand is the production company of Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Grey's Anatomy.

1st Logo
ShondaLand (2005)(March 27, 2005-May 19, 2016)

Logo: On a pink surface, we see a blue rollercoaster with chasing lights on it built around a huge hanging heart, shining as it is made of glass. The name ShondaLand, in a decorative pink font, hangs above the structure.

Variants: On the final episode of Private Practice, the heart deflates, the lights bust out, and the cart stops moving. Note that in this one, the heart looks like a balloon.

FX/SFX: Flashing of the attraction lights. The "LAND" also flickers once.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme. In some cases, you can hear the rollercoaster's wheels moving on the track, a zapping sound from when "LAND" flickers as well as high-pitched voices screaming "Wheeeeeee!" and "Hooray!" On the variant where the heart deflates, the voices say "Awwww.."

Availability: Common. First seen on Grey's Anatomy. Private Practice,Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murderalso have this logo.

Editor's Note: None, but the Private Practice one may startle a few.

2nd LogoShondaLand - CLG Wiki
(March 24, 2016- )

Logo: On a black background, we see a rectangle that has the a rollercoaster in the shape of a heart. It zooms out as flames go around it, meaning the cart is going really fast. The structure leans outside the box, and the rollercoaster zooms out of the logo. It reveals the orange text "SHONDALAND" lighting up.

FX/SFX: The flame, the zoom, the lights. All CGI.

Variants: On CTV airings of The Catch, the logo starts from the rollercoaster zooming past us.

Music/Sounds: Same as before. When the coaster zooms away from us, a whoosh is heard.

Availability: Brand new. Seen on newer episodes of Grey's Anatomy, The Catch,Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder.

Editor's Note: None.

3rd Logo
(2017-)

Logo:On a black background, a rollercoaster car collection rides on a glow-in-the-dark track shaped like a lowercase letter "e". As they leave, the words "shondaland" appear.

Variant: On the series finale of Scandal, the rollercoaster stops after the text "shondaland" appears.

FX/SFX: The rollercoaster.

Music/Sounds: The sounds of the rollercoaster with people screaming.

Availability:Brand new. Used in tandem with the previous logo.
