Background: The Samuel Goldwyn Company opened a home entertainment division in 1982 to distribute all SGC releases on video cassette. But in 1997 it merged to MGM, closing definitively in 2000.

Availability: Can be seen on home video releases such as the original HBO Video release of Rock-a-Doodle. Some Samuel Goldwyn DVD releases used the MGM DVD logo instead of this logo.
