Background: Regal Home Video, also called Regal International Inc. and Regal Home Entertainment, is the home video division of Regal Films.

1st Logo
(1980's-1989)

Logo: On a purple background, we see the words "REGAL INTERNATIONAL PRESENTS" with quotation marks.

Variant: On a release of Pilipinas Kong Mahal, a blue background was used.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely rare. Appears on their very early VHS tapes, including Anak Ng Cabron.

2nd Logo
(1989-1992)


Nicknames: "Regal International", "The Almost Cheesy Regal R", "King R II"

Logo: On a background with a large and moving blue star, the same "R" from the second Regal Entertainment logo, but thinner font weight, is onthe center of the screen. The words "Regal International, Inc"(in a similar font, and in capri) fade in. The word "Presents" (in a modern-styled font, and also in capri) crawls down from below the "Regal International, Inc."

Variant: On I Have 3 Eggs and Pretty Boy Hoodlum, the logo is shorter and has a green tint to it.

FX/SFX: The moving star in the background, the "Regal International, Inc." fading in, and "Presents" crawling.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 2nd Regal Filmslogo.

Availability: Same as before; once again, only seen on some Filipino films. Sometimes appears before the Regal Films logo.This strangely plasters the Seiko Films logo on the 1991 VHS of Kristobal: Tinik sa korona right after the<a class="external" href="http://closinglogogroup.wikia.com/wiki/Artisan_Entertainment" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Artisan Entertainment">Live Home Video</a>FBI Warning.

Editor's Note: The Regal Films music is still creepy here, but this is a major improvement over the "R from Hell".



3rd Logo
(1990-1992)

Variant:
  • At the end of some tapes the text says "The Following is a preview of Regal International's forthcoming video releases" bumper exists.
  • On Barbi For President, the text are in red tint.
  • On Bukas Tatapakan Ka Ng Dyaryo the logo uses the different text the word "Inc." has been ommited. Also itfly into the screen, then plays in reverse than just zooming left out.

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds:None, but sometimes it uses the 2nd Regal Films logo theme.

Availability:Extremely Rare. Can be seen on the VHS tapes like a Hanggang Saan Ang Tapang Mo and Barbi For President.

Nicknames: Cheesy Regal Home Video, "A Blatant Edit of the Regal Television Logo", "Philippines' Answer to Paramount Home Video" (referencing the edit of the television division's logo for a home entertainment division)

Logo: Same as the Regal Television logo, but with ablue-ish rectangle appearing to cover the original "REGAL TELEVISION" text, and "REGAL HOME VIDEO" zooming in from the logo, and stopping in the rectangle.

FX/SFX: Same as Regal Television.

Music/Sounds: The 1st Academy Home Entertainment theme.

Music/Sounds Variant: On a release of Ang Titser Kong Pogi, the logo is silent.

Availability: Common to find in Filipino home videos from the time. This was seen on some VHS/DVD/VCD movies like
Gagamboy, Bahay Ni Lola,Ang Titser Kong Pogi, Vizconde Massacre: God Help Us!, Aguinaldo: Agila Ng Cagayan, Hesus Rebolsyonaryo and other Regal Films, and also from their subsidiaries Good Harvest Unlimited Inc, MAQ Productions Inc.,Mother Studios Films, and RMI. This logo can be also found on their HV releases from films made by OctoArts Films, pre-VIVA Films (such as FLT Films International), Maverick Films, Star Cinema/ABS-CBN Film Productions,Millennium Cinema, Reyna Films Movies (including Saan Ka Man Naroroon and Abot Kamay Ang Pangarap), Seiko Films, GMA Films, and others.

Nickname:"40 Years of Regal I"

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: It starts with some Generic sounds where the Regal logo zooms in, then with loud whoosh where they straight to DVD Video Logo, then followed by a loud lightning sound which mean for copyright holder screen.

Availability: Common, Spotted on DVD releases of Karnal and Bangkang Papel. It is Unknown if this logo may contain or the original "Cheesy Regal Home Video" on VCD or DVD.

1st Logo
(1992-1993)

Regal Home Entertainment (1992)Logo: On a black background, segments of a TV tube spins in in opposite directions (Some going left and some going right). On the segments, it shows TV static. When the segments nearly meets to connect each other, it changed into the 35mm film deterioration. When they connected each other, it changed back into static. The segmented purple/blue gradient background with white lines appears from the top to the bottom to clear the static. The yellow lines flies in to the below of the tube and turn to reveal "REGAL HOMEENTERTAINMENT"
Variant: There is a copyright holder on the black screen that says "COPYRIGHT "YEAR" BY REGAL CAPITAL INC.", at the start or end of this tape.

FX/SFX:CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: The Academy Home Entertainment theme.

Music/Sounds Variant:There is a version after the Academy Home Entertainment music that follows the Majestic fanfare was used for Feature Presentation Bumper this was seen on later 1993 VHS of Gascon Bala Ang Katapat Mo and other releases.

Availability: Common, can be found on VHS releases like their release of Aswang and Ipaglaban Mo AkoBoy Topakand the 1993 VHS of Gascon Bala ang Katapat Mo (right before the<a class="external" href="http://closinglogogroup.wikia.com/wiki/Warner_Home_Video" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Warner Home Video">Warner Home Video</a>FBI Warning screen and copyright holder screen).

Music/Sounds:Same as the Regal Home Video logo, but followed by a majestic fanfare for copyright year and Feature presentation bumper.

Availability: Extremely rare. Known to appear on a VHS of Kung Ako'y IIwan Mo and Geron Olivar.

Music/Sounds: Usually silent or in rare occasions it uses the previous logo.

Music/Sounds Variants:
  • On Some VHS releases such as Pulis Probinsiya 2, it uses the happy guitar riff and flute which is more like a parade fanfare.
  • On some 2000's VHS such asIpinanganak na ang taong papatay sa iyo, it has an upbeat fanfare which is followed by a sneak preview fanfare was used.

Availability: Rare, can be found on VHS tapes like their release of Climax, Kahit Mabuhay Kang Muli, Armadong Hudas and Melencio Magat. The Silent version appears on Biboy Banal.
