On IMDB, I saw that some Prism Entertainment titles had been distributed by Paramount. Was this the result of a deal?

I came across a strange Prism logo on a VHS copy of "Monkey Boy." It had a huge lowercase "p" with the prism triangle inside of it. I wasn't going to pick it up, as I was afraid the movie would ruin my day due to it's lack of watchability.
But if you can find it, and buy it (for .79c), that'd uncover something extremely rare from this company.

If anyone could get their hands on the 2nd Prism Entertainment logo and describe it, that'd be great.
It involved a neon paintbrush and filmstrip. I haven't seen it in years, and it's not on any of my Prism tapes (even one that has it on the box).
