Logo descriptions and capture by kidinbedBackground: Platinum Games (formerly called Seeds, Inc) is a studio formed by famed game developer Atsushi Inaba, who was formerly head of Capcom's Clover Studio until it closed in 2006 (the year Platinum Games was formed as Seeds). Currently, Platinum Games has a 4-game deal with Sega, consisting of the PS3/360 game
Bayonetta (a stylish action game), the Wii game
MadWorld (an ultraviolent fighting game), the DS game
Infinite Space (a sci-fi RPG) and an untitled Shinji Mikami game.
Logo
(2009-)

Nicknames: "P+", "Platinum Games P+"
Logo: On a white background, we see various moving silhouettes of different parts of the Platinum Games logo (a P with a sideways cross on top of it) with multicolored pieces, including balls and smaller "P+" logos, flowing inside of the logo. Some of the silhouettes include a P inside a flipped P and a sideways cross with a P on top of it. Eventually, the silhouettes settle down, and the sideways cross moves and turns a black/silver gradient color. As this happens, the same color fades into the P. This is the finished Platinum Games logo.
FX/SFX: The silhouettes moving, the multicolored pieces inside the silhouettes, the fading and cross moving. Very clean and cool animation.
Music/Sounds: A futuristic synth theme. On the website, this logo is silent.
Availability: Uncommon; as of this writing only MadWorld has been released in the US. However, this logo will be seen on 3 other games, so look for Bayonetta, the next Shinji Mikami game, and Infinite Space as well when they come out. The Japanese version of Infinite Space has this logo too, so you could import the game. This logo is also seen on Platinum Games' website, and here's how to find it: in the Flash-animated slideshow at the home page, click the last circle.
Scare Factor: Minimal to low, mostly because of the fast animation and synth theme. However, this will become a favorite of many.
