Pioneer ProductionsThis is a featured page

Background: Pioneer Productions was a name of the developing group inside EA Canada.

1st Logo
(1994)

Pioneer Productions

Logo: On a black starry background, a yellow smoky circle appears with a black shadow of a man's head over it. We also see the contour of his body below, as it overshadows the stars. Suddenly the man's eyes flash and now there's a whole shadow of the man over the circle, with a sun blink behind. A red outline and the words come zooming in. The word PIONEER is yellow, and below it is the word PRODUCTIONS in red.

FX/SFX: Moving colors on the yellow circle, flashing eyes, moving outline and the words.

Music/Sounds: Background tune with the sound of eyes flashing.

Availability: Seen on The Need For Speed under all platforms.

Scare Factor: Low to Medium; the ominous man figure can scare some.

2nd Logo
(1994-1995)

Pioneer Productions

Logo: Similar to the 1st logo, but the man's figure now shows ominous blue eyes, and the flash is quicker. The word PIONEER is not yellow, but black with a red outline. The yellow color is not vivid. Plus, the light effect runs the word PIONEER near to the end.

FX/SFX: Flashing eyes, the blink running through the word. The logo is higher quality and definition.

Music/Sounds: Same as before, and the sword blade sound as the light blink appears.

Availability: Seen on NHL 95.

Scare Factor: Low to Medium; the ominous man figure, also having evil blue eyes.
