1st Logo
(1988-1995)

Logo: This is a superimposed logo, against on an red orange background, and in the Arial font, are the words "In Association With UNITED MEDIA and PAWS, INC." with a copyright underneath.

Variations:

• We see Garfield and his gang at the bottom against a light blue sunburst on a blue background, except the second text is "Produced in Association with UNITED MEDIA/MENDELSON AND PAWS, INC." as it originally appeared on seasons 2-4 episodes of Garfield and Friends.
• Over a green background we see Garfield and his gang and the third and final text is "Produced in Association with UNITED MEDIA/MENDELSON PRODUCTIONS AND PAWS, INC." as it appeared on later season episodes of Garfield and Friends.

FX: None, it's superimposed.

Music/Sounds: The Garfield and Friends closing theme (depending on what season is watched).

Availability: Was only seen on closing credits of some Garfield and Friends episodes which reran on Boomerang.

Scare Factor: Low; the sunburst in the second variation may scare you, but being superimposed, it should be alright to most.


2nd Logo
(2007- )


Logo: There are two variants.

• Opening: This logo is now on a purple background wallpapered with footprints. Basically, we see Garfield's footprint (ala the Nickelodeon Movies logo) and on the right of the screen is the words "PAWS INCORPORATED". The footprint rams into screen to reveal Garfield and his pal Odie. The word "presents" fades in below the logo.
• Closing: Same as before, only there is no "presents", and after the fanfare is over, the two make funny faces. This version plays differently on software. The background is black, the company name is both orange, and a different fanfare plays.

FX: The footprint turns into Garfield and Odie.

Music/Sounds: The movie soundtrack. At the end of the film, a triumphant fanfare plays, along with the face noises. On software and Dingleball.com, another fanfare plays.

Availability: While there has been little output in the way of TV as far as this company is concerned, this was seen on Garfield Gets Real on DVD which was released on November 20, 2007. It can be also seen on Garfield's Fun Fest. Also can be seen when you enter www.dingleball.com.

Scare Factor: Low for the opening. Medium for the closing, as the funny faces look REALLY weird and the fact that they come out of NOWHERE.
