1st Logo
(1992-2010) Nickname: "The Paramount Banner" Logo: On a white background, we see the post-1967 Paramount Pictures print logo with a byline below, previously colored in blue. Bylines: 1992: "A Gulf+Western Company". 1993-1995: "A Paramount Communications Company". 1995-2010: "A VIACOM COMPANY" (in the 1990 \/|/\CO/\/\ "Wigga-Wigga" font). 2010: "A VIACOM COMPANY" (in the 2006 font). Variants: In the Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum versions of The Addams Family, the logo is in white with the Gulf+Western byline in yellow and the registered trademark symbol "®" in red, along with the Ocean logo above the Paramount logo. In some games, most notably Star Trek: The Next Generation - Birth of the Federation, the logo is on a black background. In Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen, the logo had silvery gradient colors and space background. In the DS version of Transformers: The Game, the logo is on a red (Autobots) or purple (Decepticons) background with a robotic frame around it. The logo also glows. In 2010, the entire logo and byline are colored in black. FX/SFX: None. Music/Sounds: None. Availability: Common. This is not actually an interactive mark, it is the banner used in Paramount-owned licensees, including Mission: Impossible for PlayStation, Top Gun: Fire Storm for Game Boy Color, Top Gun: Combat Zones for Game Boy Advance, and The Spiderwick Chronicles for Nintendo DS among others. First seen in The Addams Family for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum (with the Ocean logo above it) and, so far, last seen in the Nintendo DS version of The Last Airbender (with the Nickelodeon Movies logo below it). Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(1993-2006) Nickname: "CGI Mountain" Logo: It's basically the 1986-2003 Paramount Pictures logo without an interactive mark whatsoever. Variants: In the PC version of Wayne's World, the logo is still and bylineless, then "Paramount" turns into "and" and the stars disappear. In Top Gun: Fire At Will, the logo is cut-shortened. Plus, the Viacom byline fades in together with the Paramount script logo. There is also a still artwork version of this logo in The Italian Job and Nacho Libre. FX/SFX: Same as the Paramount Pictures logo of the era. Music/Sounds: None. Availability: Seen in Wayne's World, The Italian Job, Nacho Libre, The Godfather: The Game, the Top Gun games and the Star Trek games. Scare Factor: None.
