Background: Original Film is a production company founded in 1997 by Neal H. Moritz. No logo was used until 1999.

1st Logo
(March 5, 1999-April 29, 2004)

<img align="bottom" alt="Original Film (2001)" height="196" src="http://image.wikifoundry.com/image/1/4dNwaEVchUH7V6MZfldSqw17500/GW266H196" title="Original Film (2001)" width="266"/><img align="bottom" alt="Original Film (2000)" height="197" src="http://image.wikifoundry.com/image/1/Z1Zxug96Gdq_gxK_hvwU5w15109/GW259H197" title="Original Film (2000)" width="259"/> <embed allowfullscreen="true" height="204" src="http://wikifoundrytools.com/wiki/closinglogos/widget/youtubevideo/ca187219a6b63f8e34dfa71c74f03ad7be536797" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="249" wmode="transparent"/>

Logo: In darkness, there appears a yellow director chair. The scene slowly moves, revealing other contents of the recording room - the director sitting with his megaphone, the man with camera, lights and microphone. Then we see the speaker with a striped bar under his head. All the action is made in unique decorative design and using limited amount of colors, including yellow, green, dark blue and brown. The green speaker's head with bar remains in the frame, while other background becomes black and the name appears, reading "ORIGINALFILM" in custom font. The word "FILM" is placed directly below the frame.

FX/SFX: The picture gradually fading in, there are no other action.

Variant: There was a TV version with the white box. The original frame with speaker face is placed inside the box, and the background in the frame is white. The word "ORIGINAL" is posed vertically left to the frame and "FILM" appears below (a la the 1991-2005 LucasArts logo), all in black, with the small square in the corner dividing them. This logo is completely still.

Music/Sounds: A simple uprising composition. On Slackers, the opening theme is heard.

Availability: Uncommon, appeared not on every movie, but was seen on the trilogy of The Skulls. The box version appeared on Cabin by the Lake, but its sequel, Return to the Cabin by the Lake, had the movie logo instead.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo
(August 8, 2003- )

<img align="bottom" alt="Original Film (2007)" height="203" src="http://image.wikifoundry.com/image/1/dC_RO1XFDVHx_MHBDzkdbg15098/GW313H203" title="Original Film (2007)" width="313"/><embed allowfullscreen="true" height="214" src="http://wikifoundrytools.com/wiki/closinglogos/widget/youtubevideo/f80d2156db966d1e8ad7e06cb55dc244b8540a75" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="261" wmode="transparent"/>

Logo: We see the spinning silver O appearing from the darkness. Then it moves left, making room for other letters of the words ORIGINAL FILM, covered by two lines up and down. The logo shines.

FX/SFX: The letters forming. Not as good as the last logo.

Variants:
  • Television shows featured the shortened animation.
  • On Sonic The Hedgehog, the logo is blue and the background is red.
Music/Sounds: None. The television variant had the humming-like whoosh.

Availability: First seen on S.W.A.T. Common on movies, such as Vantage Point and Prom Night. The television version can be seen on Prison Break and Tru Calling.

Editor's Note: None.
