Nickname
: "The Marble"

Logo: On a gray marble background, we see the text

Nuance
Productions

in Times New Roman Italic in black. Then a hand (presumably belonging to Paul Reiser himself) reaches in and moves the first word up a little.

Variants:
  • The logo was later remade for HD with different hand footage.
  • On original NBC airings ofMad About You, the logo is inside the split-screen credits. The text is to small to fit in the entire logo and we see more of the hand moving "Nuance".

FX/SFX: The live action hand moving "Nuance".

Music/Sounds: No music, but we hear a sliding sound as the hand moves "Nuance" up. NBC airings used a generic theme starting in 1994. The remake has a different sliding sound.

Availability: Seen on Mad About You, and the direct-to-video movie Popeye's Voyage: The Quest for Pappy. It was also seen on The Paul Reiser Show and There's... Johnny.
