1st Logo
(April 1, 1999-October 1, 2002)
Noggin Originals (2000)

Nickname: "Head Bulb"

Logo: On a blue BG, we see a Noggin logo with nothing on top. What appears to be a drill pops up on top of the logo, and is forced out, revealing it to be part of a lightbulb (the logo shuts its eye and grits its teeth once this happens). It turns upside down, lights up (turning the BG yellow), and smiles. The letters in the logo rearrange themselves to be right-side up, and "ORIGINAL" appears below.

Variant: This was also used as a short bumper, but the word "ORIGINAL" (and the copyright notice) are removed.

FX/SFX: All of the animation.

Music/Sounds: A "screwing" sound as the lightbulb piece appears, and when the logo lights up, there is music that sounds "desert"-like, accompanied by various sound effects, which include the word "Noggin" being spoken in a somewhat nasal voice.

Availability: Extinct; appeared on A Walk in Your Shoes (1999-2002 episodes), Sponk!, and the first season of Play With Me Sesame. Play With Me Sesame still airs on PBS Kids Sprout, but this logo is plastered by the Sesame Workshop logo on Sprout airings.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(October 1, 2002-September 11, 2005)

Nickname: "Mentally Created Tree"
Noggin Originals (2003)
Logo: Against a blue sky over a field of dirt, the sun is rising and we see the Noggin logo. A tree quickly grows on it, with fat little birds approaching and a banner with "ORIGINAL" on it appearing.

FX/SFX: Just cute animation.

Music/Sounds: A whistling tune.

Availability: Last seen on Oobi and Miffy and Friends re-runs on the now extinct Noggin.

Scare Factor: None; it's harmless, unless you dislike baby shows.

3rd Logo
(September 12, 2005-September 27, 2009)

Nickname: "Noggin Horn"
Noggin Originals (2005)
Logo: On a pattern background, we see the Noggin logo on the left with a curved tuba facing to the right on the head. A white ribbon reading "ORIGINAL" comes out of the tuba and birds are handling it with their feet.

FX/SFX: Same as the first one, but with less of the "cute"-ness.

Music/Sounds: A banjo strum then a high-pitched, 5-note flute tune.

Availability: Possibly extinct, this could only be seen on re-runs of Jack's Big Music Show on Nick Jr. (Jack's Big Music Show was removed from Nick Jr. on
March 1st, 2012, following an update to the channel.)

Scare Factor: Same as the 2nd logo, plus the flute tune may get to some obnoxious babies.

4th Logo
(2006-2009)

Nickname: "Skyscrapers"

Logo: On a white background, we see the Noggin logo. Above it, we see some mentally-created skyscrapers.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds:The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Rare; seen on Pinky Dinky Doo on Nick Jr.

Scare Factor: None.

I can't believe this just happened! I loooooooved N O G G I N! And somehow ding-dong Nick Jr. came out of nowhere and took N O G G I N's place spontaneously. I hope they change that logo back someday! ;(
