1st Logo
(1984-1989)
Nickname: “The Sphere”
Logo: Same as the movie logo, but instead of “New World Pictures”, “New World Video” fades in.
Variant: There is also a short version of this logo, which can be seen at the end of their VHS releases.
FX/SFX: The 3D sections merging into the globe, a la the movie counterpart.
Music/Sounds: Varies like it's parent logo
Availability: On VHS releases of New World films.
Scare Factor: None; it’s a popular logo among many.
2nd Logo
(1994-1997) 
Nicknames: "CGI Sphere", "New World Comet"
Logo: Same as its TV counterpart, except with a longer shot of the empty space BG. At the end of tapes, the usual short version found on TV plays.
FX/SFX: Same as TV counterpart.
Music/Sounds: It begins with a "chime" sound that reverberates throughout and several eerie "moaning" sounds to give the impression of floating in space. It ends with the usual music from the TV version. On PAL releases, the music is high-pitched.
Availability: Seen on the home video releases of HBO's Vault of Horror.
Scare Factor: Low.
