New Line Home Entertainment Warning Screen
1st Warning
(1991-1992)
Warning: This was the FBI Warning screen used for Embassy Home Entertainment/Nelson Entertainment. On a blue background, we see the FBI square (the big white "FBI" with the white FBI logo). Next to it is a white square is black text. Between some of the text is a red "WARNING!"
FX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: This was used for Nelson Entertainment before New Line Home Video took over their home entertainment department. On New Line releases, can be seen on City Slickers and Eve of Destruction starring Gregory Hines.
Scare Factor: Like all warnings in this format, low to medium.
2nd Warning
(1991-1992)

Warning: Just the 1983-2004 Warning screen seen on RCA/Columbia-Columbia TriStar releases.
FX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: For New Line Home Video, seen on Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.
Scare Factor: Low.
3rd Warning
(1992-1997)
Warning: We see the word "WARNING" in red with drop shadow. Below it is the Warning text in white. This was also used for the Warning screen of MGM/UA Home Video.
FX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on New Line Home Video tapes from 1992-1997.
Scare Factor: Low.
4th Warning
(1997- )
Warning: Kind of an updated version of the 1992 Warning. The shadow effects are white, the "Warning" a bit skinnier and the text bolder.
Variant: A custom-made version was seen on The Golden Compass.
FX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on New Line Home Video/Entertainment releases.
Scare Factor: Low for the regular version and none for the Golden Compass version; this may surprise you when expecting the regular warning and coming up with this, but it's harmless.
