Background: This was the international arm of the NBC Television Network.

1st Logo
(1979-1986)

NBC International Ltd. "Proud N-Peacock" (1979-1986)

Nicknames: "The Proud N-Peacock", "The Proud N", "Neon Proud Peacock"

Logo: On a black background, several colorful neon lines drawn onto the screen. The neon lines zoom out and flash, revealing a
CGI view of the NBC peacock, behind a blue stylized "N". The words "NBC International Ltd. Presents", in a blue 3D font, appear underneath the logo. The peacock then shines.

FX/SFX: The lines drawing, the peacock forming. All Scanimate effects.

Music/Sounds: Same as NBC's logo from the 50's.

Availability: Rare; seen on international prints of some co-produced shows, such as Punky Brewster and the short-lived cartoon Kissyfur, among other series. The logo is preserved only on the Season 1 DVD of Punky Brewster, as far as I know.

Scare Factor: Low, unless you are scared of NBC chimes.

2nd Logo
(1986-1996)

Nicknames: "90s Peacock", "The 1986 Peacock", "The Remake of the Peacock", "The Restored Peacock", "Come Home"

Logo: Against a black background, a red CGI mound appears. As it rises, more rainbow colors are revealed. Then from the top of the screen, the head/neck of the NBC Peacock swings in and the moundspreads to become his feathers. This Peacock is the current version, and it backs away with a color trail around it. Below, the word:
NBC International Presents (1986)
NBC

flies in and the words:

I N T E R N A T I O N A L, L T D.
P R E S E N T S

fade in. When the word "NBC" backs into it's place, it takes on a more "solid" color.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1986 NBC Productions logo, but slow.

Music/Sounds: Same as NBC's logo from the 50's.

Availability: Very rare. Last seen on the Starmaker print of Rage of Angels: The Story Continues
.

Scare Factor: Low, unless you are scared of NBC chimes.
