NBC - CLG WikiNBC Enterprises: 2001-2004

Nickname: "Crystal Feathers"

Logo: Over a black background, we see very huge peacock feathers in transparent glass form flip around, revealing the company name "
NBC ENTERPRISES", which appears on the most prominent feather. A small purple NBC peacock logo appears below the name.

Trivia: This logo was based on NBC's on-air look from 2000 to 2002. NBC News' closing logo of the time also included glass feathers, and, as of 2008, still does.

Variant: There is also a narrow version.

FX/SFX: The flipping peacock feathers.

Music/Sounds: Again, the second music plug from logo 7.

Availability: Was common in the early 2000s, but has virtually disappeared. However, it appears on reruns of Fear Factor (at last check when FX showed it), and the DVDs of Punky Brewster and Groucho Marx's You Bet Your Life. It was also seen when the now-defunct Trio cable network reran Late Night with David Letterman. It should be intact if that show is ever reran again. Also, it's currently seen on reruns of the syndicated version of Weakest Link on GSN. It also appeared on the long-forgotten syndicated talk show The Other Half, and the first season of Starting Over.

Scare Factor: Low; the large feathers may catch you off-guard, but that's about it.
