Background: MoPo Productions is the production company of Maury Povich, host of the syndicated television talk show Maury.

1st Logo
(1991-1995)

Logo: Superimposed in the credits of Maury, we see the following logo made up four small squares connected, and a long blue rectangle connected to the lower squares:

The red "M" is in the upper left square, which is the same color as the school bus yellow "P" in the red square diagonal to the square with the "M." To the right of each capital letter is a golfball, both representing the o's in "MoPo." The square to the right of the "M" is blue and has the top golfball in the bottom left corner, and to the left of the "P" is a blank square that is purple. The text "PRODUCTIONS, INC." is inside the blue rectangle that is connected to the purple and red squares, and "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" is right below the rectangle. To the right of the four squares and on top of the rectangle is a school bus yellow golf flag with a dark-colored pole.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of Maury.

Availability: Rare, seen on episodes of Maury from the era, which are hardly, if ever, reran.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(1995- )

Nickname: "MoPo Golfball"

Logo: In a golf course, a golfball flies over a hill, and rolls into a hole. The camera pans to an aerial view of the hole, revealing the golfball is printed with a circle reading "MoPo" in a tall Bank Gothic font, and under it, a black oval reading "PRODUCTIONS, INC." with that text in Bank Gothic.

FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: The animation, which isn't that detailed. Also, there is a "jolt" from the animation to the finished logo.

Music/Sounds: A "whack" sound, followed by the sound FX of the ball rolling into the hole, and then an emphatic note. Sounds of birds are heard all the while.

Availability: Common, though it only appears on one show, Maury. That show can be seen daily in syndication.

Scare Factor: None; a very well known and well-liked logo.
