Background: Massive Entertainmment was founded in 1997 in Sweden. The company is well known for its strategy games Ground Control and World in Conflict. It was bought out by Vivendi Games in 2002, but after the merger with Activision, the company was let go. Then in 2008, it was acquired by Ubisoft Entertainment.

Nicknames: "Massive Ball", "The Massive Web"

Logo: On a black background, many orange lines make a grid-like structure, with white streaks continuously going through the lines, as well as clips from the game itself. The grid continue to zoom out and grow larger, eventually forming into a orange mass. After it zooms out, it reveals a blue ball with 2 cuts on the right and bottom, as the screen changes from a letterbox format to fullscreen. The ball rotates slightly with a orange border and "massive enTerTainmenT" below it. The screen then flashes, making the ball conduct lightning and a fog forming for a brief second before dispatching, with 2 shines appearing briefly on the border. It then shines for a second before quickly zooming towards the screen.

FX/SFX: The web zooming out, the logo rotating.

Music/Sounds: Networking sounds and people's voices ultimately merging into a sharp noise. A voice saying "Massive" can be heard at the end.

Availability: Can be seen on Ground Control, including the demo version.

Nicknames: "Massive Ball II", "The Liquid Ball"

Logo: On a black background, a puddle of blue balls swirls around and condenses into a sphere. The screen then flashes and reveals the "ME" ball from before, but more flat. It then gets pushed away by a rectangle with "MASSIVE" in a futuristic font and "ENTERTAINMENT" below, being smaller, more plain, and spaced out to fit the former word. They vibrate from the recoil, before the ball then rolls in from the side, pushing it to the right.

FX/SFX: The liquid forming the ball, the name and ball moving.

Music/Sounds: The sound of swirling up, banging, and rolling to match the actions.

Availability: Appears on Ground Control 2. The demo version contain this logo still and color-reversed.

Logo: The assault squad blasts the side of Massive logo. The soldiers appear. One of them runs very close and clears the logo from vision.

FX/SFX: The animation of chips and soldiers running.

Music/Sounds: Silent background sounds.

Availability: Appears on World in Conflict.

4th Logo
(2007)

Nicknames: "War of the Wars", "No Massive Ball"

Logo: On a black background, the "MASSIVE ENTERTAINMENT" text can be seen in the middle of the screen, inside a rectangle show a torn USA flag flowing in the wind. It slowly zooms out as a black helicopter passes over the text and the flag turns into the Soviet Union flag. An explosion occurs in the back and a group of soldiers passes over the text, changing the background to white in the rectangle and causing it to pulse once.

FX/SFX: The silhouettes, the box zooming out.

Music/Sounds: The sounds of the effects going on in the rectangle, ending with a 4-note piano ditty.

Availability: Appears onWorld in Conflict: Soviet Assault.
