Nickname: "The Lite-Brite Logo"

Logo: Against a black BG, the words "LIGHTMOTIVE" fade into view via a "rainbow dust" effect. The text is written in a tall, fancy serif font and is surrounded by a box, which has changed from rainbow-colored to solid white during the transition. The text then transitions to the words "ALLIED FILMMAKERS" via a "double wipe" effect. Both texts are colored in various rainbow colors. The logo fades away.

Variant: On James and the Giant Peach, the ''LIGHTMOTIVE'' animation is cut.

FX/Cheesy Factor: Off the charts. All the effects used in this logo are extremely cheap and look like it was animated using a Lite-Brite via stop-motion. Also, the music sounds as if it were recorded off a cassette recorder.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme to the movie, i.e., the overworld theme from Super Mario Bros. 1.

Availability: Can only be found on the infamous Super Mario Bros. movie. The short version can be seen on James and the Giant Peach as well as Majestic Films' version of
The Thief and the Cobbler (aka The Princess and the Cobbler).

Scare Factor: None; you'll just be laughing at how bad it is.
