Legal Video
1st (known) Logo
(1986-1988?)

The same description of Video Niño
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Gativideo / Videoman Internacional
1st (known) Logo
(1987-1988?)

Nickname: "Thunderbolts of doom", "Video of horror", "Road to terror", "Trip to the sun and hell", "Quiet and creepy music"

Logo
: Strange and unfamiliar logo where you see the prototype of Gativideo´s logo under the name of VideoMan Internacional (International).

Availability: Extinct, found in the edition of the film by Roger Corman Munchies released in 1987.

Scare Factor
High, along with the nightmare, the meaning of the sun, the road and lightning, and prototype of the logo and cromakey is unthinkable for the collector and the author of this segment, while looking for "the lamp in space" (1989?) I found this presentation. A chilling experience.

2nd (known) Logo
(1990-2003)

Nickname: "The Milky Way"

Logo: On a background of the Milky Way, we see the metallic text "GATIVIDEO", in a font similar to the FHE '82 logo, flyingLogotipo de Gativideo Ca. 1986-Actual - (GuiaMartinez) all over the screen, leaving a trail of sparkles. When it stops in the center, sparkles can be seen.

FX/Cheesy Factor: More 1980's computer animation, plus the font looks "cheap"...

Music/Sounds: A rather dramatic fanfare, which is actually part of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man".

Availability: This logo can be found on old Argentine PAL/N VHSs like Touchstone`s "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", the original (and only) edition of "Song of the South" and other films from Disney and 20th Century Fox like "Home Alone" series, "Die Hard" and "Predator 2" (the 1st is edited with the Legalvideo CBS-FOX Brand licence). This is one of the most memorable logos and accessible to the public, ridiculously people "cry" with emotion (not literally) by the music (video comments on the channel of Guillermo A. Martinez on Youtube).

Scare Factor
: Medium; the cheap font will not sit well with people.

3rd (known) Logo
(2003-2009)
Gativideo DVD (2003- )
Nickname: "Gativideo DVD"

Logo: Against a space BG with planets, we see the Gativideo logo from before, only in 3D, zoom out and stop to face us. Then, the DVD logo, also in 3D, zooms and flips out below it. A lens flare shines on the DVD logo.

FX/Cheesy Factor: A remake of the original, only on cheap CGI and sound effects.

Music/Sounds: Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" yet again, complete with "zoom" like effects.

Availability:
This was the last logo before closing because of piracy. Do not confuse the original editions with the original Menu and credits, Gativideo re-edit the DVD when it comes not very successful movies. Found on Argentine releases of "Nightmare on Elm Street" (New Line Cinema) collection (2003) and the "CSI Miami" series (2004), This logo is included in the local version of a original movies and series from American and Canadian films, the content of a film is different in the zone 1 to zone 4 and is maimed to have space for a DVD-5 and fullscreen, which also includes notes of authorship and design, while a original disc includes the original credit of the production studio and distributors, the extras and the original aspect ratio are included in full. In Argentina since 1998 using the NTSC standard for DVD and satellite (DirecTV and the like) since December of that year. VHS have not been published since 2003. (Uuh, say what?!?!)

Scare Factor: None.

This font in the 1986 Gativideo logo looks horrible! Scary! *screams like the Gladden Entertainment Corporation logo from 20th Century Fox's "Weekend at Bernie's"* D:
