Logo descriptions by Logoboy95
Editions by mr3urious and V of Doom

Background: Lee Mendelson/Bill Melendez Productions was a production company founded in 1965 and absorbed in 2006 into Paramount Pictures with Bill Melendez's retirement. Bill Melendez died in 2008.

1st Logo
(1965-2002)

Logo: Lee Mendelson/Bill Melendez Productions never used a logo in the beginning. Well, both had an on-screen text appearing as "A Lee Mendelson/Bill Melendez Production", but on Why, Charlie Brown, Why? the text scrolls up and disappears as Linus's cap falls off.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Usually the outro of a TV show.

Availability: Can be found on some shows such as The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show and This is America, Charlie Brown, and the 1965 Christmas TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas. Also seen on some Peanuts features such as A Boy Named Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Come Home, Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown! and Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!).

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(2002-2003)

Nickname: "The Pencil"

Logo: We see a red pencil on a white background. Surround the pencil are the words "A Mendelson-Melendez Production" in a childish font.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Seen on A Charlie Brown Valentine on ABC reruns.

Scare Factor: None, unless you hate pencils.pencils (including the infamous Sesame Street's Typewriter Guy segment P-Pencil).

3rd Logo
(2003-2006)

Nickname: "The Paintbrush" (not to be confused with the 1993 FHE logo)

Logo: We now have a paintbrush on a white (or black) background. The paintbrush is surrounded by the words "MENDELSON" and "MELENDEZ". Sometimes, the Paramount logo comes up after this.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Can be seen on I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown and He's A Bully, Charlie Brown.

Scare Factor: None.
