Background: This was an independent film and television program distributor. Most active in the educational/instructional field. Became part of New World Entertainment in the late '80s.
1st Logo
(1971-1989)
Nickname: "The Looping/Zooming L"

Logo: On a blue background, we see a white L, looping around at first, drawing. Zooming in under the L is the text:
LEARNING CORPORATION
OF AMERICA
The logo then shifts closer to us, taking up the whole screen.
FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: The L drawing, the text zooming, which looks choppy with the film quality. And why does the logo suddenly shift closer like that?
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Extremely rare. However, the Milwalkee Public Museum shows a shortened version on a short film, so look around until you find it.
Scare Factor: Low to medium.
2nd Logo
(1989-1990)
Nicknames: "The LCA Star", "New LCA"
Logo: TBA
FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: The logo is completely still. Just the byline "A NEW WORLD COMPANY" wipes in.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on LCA releases on tape.
Scare Factor: None.
