Lakeshore Entertainment
1st Logo
(1994-1999)

Logo: On a black BG, we see a picture of a white frame containing a picture of a boy clad in shorts about to jump into a lake. The picture is sepia-toned and filmed from the back "LAKESHORE" is displayed above and "ENTERTAINMENT" is displayed below.
FX: None; it's a still logo.
Music/Sounds: Just the opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Seen on Lakeshore-produced indie films from the time, such as Til There Was You and Box of Moon Light.
Scare Factor: None.
2nd Logo
(1999- )

Logo: We start with a full-screen shot of the lake from before, and we pan down a bit, focusing on the boy from before running (in slow motion) toward the lake and jumping, only to be frozen in mid-air. The picture zooms out, and the words "LAKESHORE" and "ENTERTAINMENT" fade into their usual spots.
Variant: There is a version in which "INTERNATIONAL" replaces "ENTERTAINMENT". This often plasters New World films before 1984, like "The Philadelphia Experiment".
FX: The animation, which appears to be live-action.
Music/Sounds: A soothing flute melody, sometimes coupled with the sound of the child yelling and water splashing.
Availability: Current, but not very common; seen on indie films such as Arlington Road.
Scare Factor: None.
