Changes
Key: Additions Deletions
San Jose, California
1st (known) logo:
(1979-1989)

Nickname: "Gold KTEH"
Logo: I'm not sure about the animation, but all I know is that it is "KTEH San Jose" in a very futuristic font (seen at the very top of the screen), with "KTEH" being larger than "San Jose", and that "Presents", in Eurostile font, and also gold-colored, appears at the very bottom.
SFX: TBA
Cheesy Factor: TBA
Music: TBA, though my guess is it might be the same synth jingle used by WIPB and WPSX.
Availability: Not sure...
Scare Factor: TBA
2nd logo:
(1989-1992)
Nickname: "Black-on-White KTEH"
Logo: On a white background, we see, in the same font as the previous logo, "KTEH TV 54" ("54" being larger than "KTEH TV") over a cursive font "San Jose", not like the cursive "San Diego" in KPBS' logo from the '80s. A white light passes through the logo, and we fade out.
SFX: Other than the white light passing through, it's really just a still logo.
Music: A descending synthesizer note.
Availability: Check some tapes of "PetPourri" and the "Kids' Clubhouse" (how I miss that show!) for this logo.
Scare Factor: Minimal, the font and music can be a bit startling.
3rd logo:
(1992-Present)
Nickname: "Four Square"
Logo: On a black background, we see four squares, colored blue, teal, gold, and purple, rotating into place. On the squares are letters, and both the squares and letters are arranged to look like this:
KT
eH
As you'd probably guess, "K", "T", and "H" are all upper-case, but "E" is lower-case, and slightly tilted. "San Jose Public Television" then fades in below.
SFX: The logo rotating.
Music: A twinkling synthesizer and chimes tune. Originally, when used as a program intro tag, they used the music from the second logo.
Availability: Same as the second logo, and also seen on "The Adventures of Kanga Roddy".
Scare Factor: None
