Huntington Beach, California

1st (known) Logo
(1983-1997)
KOCE-TV (1983-1997)
Logo: On a black/blue gradient background, we see "KOCE", in Aero Extended Solid font. "PRESENTS", in the same font, but outlined (kinda like the "3" "2" "1" "GO" text you see in Metropolis Street Racer before the race starts) quickly fades in below.

Variant: Another version of this logo has the "KOCE" text(in the same font as abovementioned) zoom away from the viewer, and then a huge flash appears as it turns out to be a giant "50"(in the same font as "KOCE"). Then, the text "Orange County" sketches itself under the "KOCE" and the "50".

FX: Just the appearance of the logo and "PRESENTS" fading in.

Cheesy Factor: They could've used better animation than that. Also, without the city of license appearing on screen, how are people outside of Huntington Beach, California going to know where the station's from?

Music/Sounds: A rumbling sound, an electronic synth chirp, and a wind sound at the end. On the variant, it has a whoosh sound, followed by a short synth tune, with bells heard in the background.

Availability: Don't know where the logo can be found.

Scare Factor: Medium to high due to the music and environment.

2nd Logo
(1997-2004)

Logo: On a black background, we see "KOCE", this time in Arial font, and all lower-case letters, colored gold. It appears to be in a tilted position, but it straightens itself out quickly, as a boomerang-shaped crest flies from left to right. "Presentation", colored white, and all upper-case letters, drops down a bit, then zooms in quickly.

FX: The animation's simple, but it's better than the previous logo.

Music/Sounds: A synthesized lute jingle.

Availability: Can be found at the end of "Wai Lana Yoga" on select PBS stations.

Scare Factor: Low; the animation and music are much better this time.

3rd Logo
(2004-????)
