(1990-1996)

Nickname: "The Lightning"
Jerry Bruckheimer Films - CLG Wiki

Variant: There is a short version of this logo seen at the end of some television shows, consisting of lightning already strikes it when the clouds already turn red.

FX: The cloud gliding, the lightning, the zoom-out in a box.

Music
: Just the sounds of lightning.

Availability: The long version was saved on some serveral films from 1990 until 1996, like Days of Thunder and The Rock. The short version is rare.

Scare Factor: Medium to high.

Jerry Bruckheimer Films

(1996-)

Nickname: "The Road"

Logo: We zoom down a road, as a thunderstorm brews above. Lightning strikes multiple times, as weJerry Bruckheimer Films - CLG Wiki encounter a leafless tree. Lightning strikes it, and leaves instantly appear on the tree. The screen freezes and zooms out in a box, as the text:

JERRY BRUCKHEIMER
FILMS

appears below, in a yellow color.

Variations:
  • The extended version of the logo was spotted on Con-Air.
  • On Gone in 60 Seconds, the Jerry Bruckheimer Films logo animation is playing backward, seuging into the film.
  • There is a current version of this logo in which the "JERRY BRUCKHEIMER FILMS" name is absent. However, move to the end credits of the movie so you can see this logo with the company name under it.
  • On Kangaroo Jack, two kangaroos can (breifly) be seen crossing the road

SFX: The zooming, the lightning, all very good CGI effects that hold up today.

Music: Just the sounds of the wind and lightning.

Availability: Appears on several films from the late-90s and early-00s, like Gone in 60 Seconds and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Scare Factor: Medium to high, the lightning may not sit well with some, but the lightning animation is very professional.

(2004-)

A few changes were done to the logo:

  • A thin yellow rectangle was added around the clip, the camera keeps zooming in, revealing that the clip is now in a box, until the lightning strikes on the tree, the screen freezes and the words "Jerry Bruckheimer Films" are deleted.
  • Later, some of the lightning sounds were replaced with new lightning sound effects.
Jerry Bruckheimer Films - CLG Wiki Availability: Appears on films from 2004 onwards.
