Background: Infinity Ward was a video game company created in 2002 by the former employees of 2015, Inc, and fully owned by Activision since 2003. They are most known for creating the Call of Duty series (though some of those games were created by Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games). In 2010, a lot of team members left the company.

1st Logo
(2003?)

Infinity Ward (2003?)
Nicknames: "IW Inkblot", "The Inkblot"

Logo: In white background we see a dark-blue inkblot with barcode on it and Infinity Ward at bottom, with vertical lines from the top of "Infinity Ward" glowing.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Originally seen on Call of Duty but unfortunately soon after its release it was plastered by next logo below

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo
(2003- )

Logo: We see the "i" in "infinity ward" with white circles moving around it, just as electrons do. They form three circles and then the rest of the letters in "infinity ward" push the "i" to the left.

Variants:
  • In Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, after the letters are seen, the view turns into green night vision.
  • In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the electrons are missing and the logo forms in a computer graphic like fashion.

FX/SFX: The circles moving and the Infinity Ward text. In Call Of Duty 4 and later, there is also the night vision.

Music/Sounds: The electron balls whooshing.

Availability: Seen on all Call of Duty games developed by the company, starting from the first and second parts. The night vision variant is seen on Call of Duty 4 and later on.

Editor's Note: None.
