Will wonders never cease! I finally came across the horizontal logo on YouTube. Someone posted two FURY end credit sequences. The 1956 clip has the ITC horizontal logo (the other one was from 1961, with the TPA logo). Also, Nostalgia Merchant reissued THE GALE STORM SHOW at one point. Maybe the horizontal logo made it on that as well. Eitherway, the long-lost ITC logo is still out there.

Seen it a few minutes ago of AMC and if it comes on again, I'll record that logo.
BTW, the movie that logo was shown on was called "Volunteers".

The ITC logo capture (green BG) is not from 1973. The copyright notice clearly reads 1980 (MCMLXXX). The Space Diamonds were introduced in 1973, not 1975 as this wiki states.

I had nitemares with this logo when i was a little kid in the 1980s. I remember all; the evil music, the diamonds spinning, the zooming-out fx and the creepy animation. Actually i hate it.

This logo scared me when i am a child in the 1980s, but the Viacom "V of Doom" is most, most SCARY! Thanks for all buddy Mister Logo.

Funny Reference to the ITC logo: In the episode of the series, Mystery Science Theater 3000, from the very very first season (when it was still a local program). They watch a movie called "Cosmic Princess" which is really just a several "Space:1999" episodes strung together, at the begging of the movie the ITC logo appears and I think Joel or Crow or somebody askes something like "Doesn't that ITC logo remind you the Muppet Show?" Both Space:1999 and The Muppet Show were produced by ITC!

It certainly reminds ME of the Muppet Show. Since they always played it right at the beginning, I can't watch this logo and not immediately expect to hear Scooter knock on the dressing room door and say, "Elton John, Elton John, 2 minutes to curtain Mr. John."
