Logo: On a traditional film backdrop, "SEE MORE", "FEEL MORE", and "HEAR MORE" are displayed before the countdown begins at 10. At 8, the scene makes a jarring transition to a blue CGI environment as 7 becomes "THE WORLD'S LARGEST SCREENS", 5 becomes "12000 WATTS OF DIGITAL SURROUND SOUND", and 3 becomes "CRYSTAL CLEAR IMAGES". Finally, 1 becomes "THE ULTIMATE MOVIE EXPERIENCE", which flips over to reveal the IMAX logo, which dissolves to "think big" before the screen acts like a TV that's been turned off.
Variants: On DMR releases, 1 becomes "DIGITALLY TRANSFORMED" before becoming "THE ULTIMATE MOVIE EXPERIENCE". At digital locations, instead of turning off like a TV, the whole thing fades to a black screen featuring the DLP logo. Sometimes, only the tail end, starting with the IMAX logo already present, is shown.
SFX: The filmstrip, the numbers, the text flipping, and other stuff occuring in the blue CGI environment.
Music: A futuristic piece.
Availability: Currently shown on IMAX screens, and sometimes preserved on DVD releases of IMAX product as well.
Scare factor: Medium, possibly high if shown before a movie that's even partially in IMAX 3-D.
