Background: HD Interactive is a Netherlands-based publisher, established in 1995. In several years HD became the largest publisher in the region, and later entered the worldwide market.
1st Logo
(1995? - 2002)
Logo: A blue construction with holes (they resemble H and D) comes in rotating, moves to the center, and interactive bumps it from the right. A row of blue dots expand under the word, another two dots jump to i letters.
FX/SFX: All the animation effects in the logo.
Music/Sounds: None (?).
Variant: A still version on steel-grey background exists.
Availability: Extremely Rare. Can be seen on games distributed by HD in several countries, like Mortyr. The still version was spotted on Big Scale Racing.
Scare Factor: None.
2nd Logo
(2002-)
Logo: Two connected letters h and d appear via fire burning effect. Then a typewriter create interactive below.
FX/SFX: Burning effects.
Music/Sounds: Quiet firecracking, then loud typewriter sounds.
Variant: On Nexus demo, the logo was made using the Black Sun 3D engine. It fades in blue noise, then shakes and fades out.
Availability: More common, but still rare. Was seen worldwide on Nexus: The Jupiter Incident (engine version on demo), as well as on Xpand Rally and Joint Task Force in corresponding countries.
Scare Factor: Low, because of the sudden typewriter noise.
