FX: the shine and "switch-off".
Cheesy Factor: The logo looks like it was made in iMovie.
Music/Sounds: The choir from the HBO Original Programming logo (albeit louder and more ethereal), followed by a "zap" sound.
Availability: Common; seen on reruns of Sex and the City, The Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under, and Taxicab Confessions, among others.
Scare Factor: Medium; the loudness can catch a daydreaming viewer off guard.
