The distribution variant of the 10th logo appeared on the film 'OSS 117: Cairo, nest of spys' (2006). Interestingly, the film is set in 1955, which made me thinking: could this mean, that the 10th logo was already in use in the 50's?

i found the gaumont logo in open logo and in the "fin" when above appear the gaumont 1908-1920 logo. in the films "L' embusque", "Vole un éléfant"...

I was actually under the impression, from my own findings, that the space logo was used from 1980 up to about 1987. I found the "scrolling" logo on the 1988 film "Camille Claudel" on Encore Love. Also, the synthesized music was still in use in 1991, because it was on "My Mother's Castle" (albeit under the Orion Classics logo on the old U.S. print).

I have no idea where the bizarre hybrid with the 1995 music comes from.

I still think that the logo currently labeled 1985 was used starting in 1980, and the one currently labeled 1980 started in either 1987 or 1988.

Then again, this requires more research (and since Gaumont plasters at least some of its movies in France, that may be hard to do).
