Background: Fox Atomic was a theatrical movie studio, a sub-division of 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) and subsidiary of News Corporation (now The Walt Disney Company), that was established in 2006 to produce genre films, comics, and digital content targeting young adults, in an attempt to compete with Screen Gems and Dimension Films.
