1st Logo
(2012-2016)

Nickname: "StudioCanal's Somber American Cousin"

Logo: On a tan background, we see 19 lines of multiple colors (yellow, light blue, orange and red) emerge from below. They travel upwards, and as they do, the camera moves around, showing that the lines are moving in a circular path. The lines converge in a circular pattern and we move out to see the lines are part of a human eye, made out of orange lines. The red line beneath the eye moves into the eye, which proceeds to explode, as the background becomes orange with a sunburst in the center (which moves). Along with it, the company logo (the company name in a rectangle that draws itself in which also connects to the "N" with "E N T E R T A I N M E N T" below) zooms forwards. It stays on screen for about three seconds before cutting to black.

FX/SFX: The lines moving and the company logo zooming forward. Too much to cover. This logo was made by Imaginary Forces, who also made the original Xbox 360 logo and the 2017 HBO Feature Presentation ID.

Music/Sounds: A theme consisting of piano notes and violin notes.

Availability: Seen on films from the company, such as House at the End of the Street and Looper.

Editor's Note: None.
