Nickname: "The Doghouse", "FHE kids"Kids"
Logo: First, we see a crudely drawn doghouse on a white background. A dog with a collar starts walking on the right side of the doghouse, sniffing the ground. The dog then walks in the doghouse. As this happens, The "fhe" in the familiar script introduced in 1984 fades in below (colored green, red, and blue respectively). The dog then peeks out with a bone in his mouth, barks (dropping his bone in the process), then a red speech bubble with a black outline and "kids" on it, appears next to the dog. The words "FAMILY HOME ENTERTAINMENT" appears below the "fhe".
Variant: On some releases, the logo appears completely silent on a black BG with the logo just zooming in, probably to reflect the Artisan logo. The "E" is also colored purple, and the dog's mouth moves.
FX: The dog walking, barking, and dropping his bone.
Music/Sounds: A pizzicato string tune with flutes, followed by the dog's bark. Sometimes, the logo is silent, with only a barking sound when the "kids" speech bubble appears (or no bark at all).
Availability: Appears on some FHE releases like Clifford, the Big Red Dog. However, starting in 2002, the 5th logo became the "main logo" and was used in most of the releases, so this logo is considered rare. It can be found on Volume 1 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
Scare Factor: None; while it's pretty cute, it's more annoying than anything.
