Background: FXP, known as FX Productions until 2016, is the production arm of the FX and FXX networks. The name was changed to simply FXP in 2016.

1st Logo

2nd Logo
FX Productions (2007) Full ScreenFX ProductionsFX Productions (2014)FX Productions (2015)

Nickname: "THUD!"

Logo: A big white banner rises from below, emitting light and slowly panning left. It has two X-shaped cuts on the top and reads "FX PRODUCTIONS". There is a small copyright line below the banner, reading "(c) [Year] FX Networks, LLC. All Rights Reserved".

Later Variant: In 2013, the logo was modified to have the copyright information on the banner instead of below it.

FX/SFX: The logo emitting light and panning.

Cheesy Factor: Since 2013, when FX had changed their main domestic logo in order to match the international version (which has the top stem of the F and the top-left part of the X connected), the FX in this logo is left unchanged and does not match with the international one perfectly, so it's now dated.

Music/Sounds: Two echoed whooshes and clangs.

Music/Sounds Variant: On one episode of It's Always Sunny In Philladelphia, it used the FX Networks music, due to a reverse plaster error.

Availability: Common. Appears on FX's original shows, as well as FXX's original shows. such as Damages, Sons of Anarchy, Archer and many others. Recently seen on FXX re-broadcast of Da Ali G Show, as part of Ali G Rezurection. Strangely, with the new name change, it is still used today on Baskets.

Scare Factor: Low.

FXP (2016)

Logo: TBA, however now the name is shortened to simply "FXP". Like the previous logos, copyright information appears below.

FX/SFX: Very well-done animation.

Music/Sounds: A brief piano note at the beginning, with a string note being held throughout the entire logo.

Availability: Brand new. First seen on Man Seeking Woman.

Scare Factor: Low. The animation might not sit well for epileptics, but it's otherwise harmless.
