Background: Endemol (a.k.a. "Endemol Entertainment") is a Dutch production company founded in 1994 by Joop van den Ende and John de Mol through a merger of both their production companies: "Joop van den Ende TV-Producties" and "John de Mol Produkties". Their first big success was the reality series Big Brother, which first aired in the Netherlands in 1999. The company is currently owned by Mediaset since May 14, 2007.

1st Logo
(1994-2001)
Nicknames: "Spread-out letters", "Zoom-out letters"
Logo: On a black background, we see the gold letters of the word "ENDEMOL" zooming-out one letter at a time in a fast pace with the word "ENTERTAINMENT"
zooming-out underneath "ENDEMOL", where we later see a warp-effect while the letters continue to zoom-out and start to spread to finish forming the word. There is a blue blast effect which later shows a white spiked-arched crown. One above and one below and would later turn blue. The words "ENDEMOL" and "ENTERTAINMENT" later turns from gold to light-gold or yellow and the after the animation finishes.
Variant: This logo would have an effect just like the Embassy Television and Embassy Communications logos, the animation would play the same way on the ending of any television show, but the background would later turn black.
FX/SFX: The letters zooming out.
Music/Sounds: The end title theme from any show.
Availability: Rare; seen on such shows like Chains of Love and RTL's Mini-Playback Show and Lucky Letters.
Scare Factor: Low.
2nd Logo
(1999-2006)
Nickname: "The Eye", "Big Brother is Watching You"
Logo: Against a black BG, a cloud of vapor appears, forming a slanted ellipse on it's side, which spins to face the screen and "endemol" written below. Later, a eye fades in on the ellipse.
Variant: Shows produced by Endemol's divisions outside of the Netherlands had the country's name below. For example, American-produced shows would appear as "Endemol USA". A special varient was used for Argentina, that when the logo is done, it slides to the left, revaling "argentina", which slides to the right. "presenta" (meaning "presents") below the logo. This was used as a opening logo.
FX/SFX: The vapor.
Music/Sounds: Usually the end theme of the show can be heard. The logo's own music is a metallic clang sound followed by a deeper whoosh sound.
Availability: Seen on Endemol-produced shows of the period, such as Fear Factor, Big Brother and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Scare Factor: None.
3rd Logo
(2006-2008)
Nickname: "The Eye 2", "Big Brother is Watching You 2"
Logo: On a black BG, we see the same Endemol logo from before zooming out through a iris-out effect, and during that, the eye looks around for a few seconds.
Variants:
Music/Sounds: Usually the end theme of the show, but like the previous logo, it sometimes comes with it's own music, which consists of two whooshes when the logo is zooming out, and then a clang when it's done zooming out.
Availability: No longer current, but still commonly seen on Deal or No Deal, Big Brother, and Fear Factor episodes of the time, among other shows.
Scare Factor: None to Minimal for the one with the end credit theme playing over, or with network generic music, but Low for the one with it's own music.
4th Logo

(2001- )
Logo: We slowly zoom out from a shot of a human eye with purplish clouds of stars and swirling blue comets superimposed over it. The Endemol logo along with the current Southern Star logo (A segmented blue 7-point star with "southern star" below) fades in and zooms out. The eye closes and disappears, leaving behind the purplish clouds.
Variant: On Deal or No Deal (the Aussie version), the logo appears in the split-screen credits, with a copyright date next to it.
FX/SFX: The stars, the logos fading in, and the live-action eye.
Music/Sounds: A rather dramatic synth-string fanfare.
Availability: Seen on the Australian versions of Big Brother and Deal or No Deal, among others.
Scare Factor: None to minimal, due to the slightly dramatic music.
